Charlotte's Way To a Better Life!

I am Linda, Charlotte's Mum.

Charlotte suffered a brainstem injury last year and is now restricted to seeing the world from her bed in a specialist 24hr care facility Thistle Hill Care Home in Knaresborough, Yorkshire.

Charlotte is surrounded by new friends who have suffered a similar fate that severely restricts their quality of life.

To the rear of the home is a walkway through woodland that used to be a footpath to take residents in their wheelchairs for a glimpse of nature and some welcome fresh air. This has been closed for a number of years and has fallen into disrepair.

So what exactly are we doing about it?

I am gathering a team of supporters to help raise money for this project that will bring so much happiness to Charlotte, her friends and their loved ones.

Roy Mapplebeck , John & Linda Middleton will be walking the Camino Ingles in June this year.

Wendy McLorg will be attempting a sponsored slim to lose 2 stone!
