Charmaine’s Medical Expenses

 

On the evening of March 2nd, Charmaine is believed to have suffered a seizure while at the wheel, causing her to lose control and strike a tree. Unfortunately, windy conditions made it impossible for her to be airlifted, so she had to be transported by ambulance and police escort to the nearest trauma unit.

Charmaine celebrated her 31st birthday a mere 2 days before the accident. She is a proud dog mom and works full time as a nurse, all while studying full time to complete her masters and become a Nurse Practitioner.

To date, she has undergone 6 surgeries and will likely need more in the future. She will continue to need wound care, medical equipment, occupational therapy, and physical therapy for many months to come and even after she gets to come home. On top of medical expenses, we are anticipating that she will be unable to return to work for at least a year. 

To know Charmaine is to love her. She has devoted her life and career to taking care of others. Please help us in lightening her financial load so that she can focus on recovery. Even if you can’t give, please continue to keep her in your prayers.
