Charmayne Anderson Memorial Fund

With a sad and heavy heart we wanted to share that our beloved Ms. Charmayne - surrounded by family and friends - crossed over and began her new adventure on Friday, March 26th at 8pm.

The support and love that everyone showed Maynie through this page (and beyond) was invaluable to her, and gave her great peace of mind so she could focus on Emma during her last years. She lived her last days to the fullest, and though we mourn her immeasurable loss, it has been inspiring to see so many people from all around the globe come forth to share their love of Charmayne through texts, posts, and messages. There have been so many funny stories and photos surfacing, all a testament to the fact that Charmayne touched so many lives. She had such real and deep friendships with each of you. There truly was none quite like our girl and her ‘joie de vivre’ will live on instilled in her sweet daughter Emma.

Though she didn’t want a service, there will be one last ‘fais deaux deaux’ to celebrate Charmayne’s life in the coming weeks. We’ll keep this page open for those who have reached out to offer their continued support of her wonderful Emma, or for those who might want to (in lieu of flowers) help her family pull together this last soiree to pass a good time with crawfish, snow cones and a second line finale. Bring your white handkerchiefs and umbrellas...Laissez les bon temps rouler!

Laugh hard with those you love and don’t take shit from nobody. Charmayne would want that for all of us.
