Charneseya's & Family Recovery Fund
Donation protected
I am the mother in law of Charneseya Moye who is 25 years old. Her husband Shawn Parker is my son, who's 24 years old. The proud parents of 3 beautiful children. Maddison age 4, Mason age 2 and Mahkai age 3 months.
This year has proven to be a challenge for them. On January 1st, Shawn lost his Great-Aunt to COVID-19, which had an emotional toll on him, as he has already experienced a lot of loss in his young life. Shortly after Charneseya had to have emergency surgery while pregnant with their third child. Thank God she pulled through with no complications. Because of that surgery she had to go out on leave early.
She gave birth to their third child a few weeks later. Shortly after Shawn lost his job. Financially and emotionally they were strained and having difficulty with rent.
Shawn, obtained a new job and things looked promising until Shawn fell sick with covid. Covid spread to his little family quickly. Although, he and the children are recovering fairly well, his wife is in a battle for her life.
Charneseya has a history of asthma and in fact was a very stable asthmatic. Covid is a nasty virus and doesn't discriminate, no matter the age, or health history.
She was admitted to the hospital 2 days ago with respiratory compromise and she declined quickly. She has since been admitted to ICU and my son has been told her condition is guarded and that she will have a long battle and will likely have a long recovery.
To make matters worse when they got sick with covid they were in the transition of moving out of their current apartment as their lease ended and unfortunately did not secure a new place of residence prior to.
We are asking for donations to help cover any medical costs, recovery costs and resources to assist with finding a residence for her to return home to, so she can recover without any worries. Anything is appreciated as well as many prayers for her healing and support for her husband and children as they journey through this trial.
Thank you in advance for your support and prayers.
Sincerely
Lori-Ann McIntyre
