Chase and Kelsie (Remington) Tingen

Our dear friends' sweet daughter Kelsie and her husband Chase were in a tragic car accident Friday evening. Chase is in the hospital recovering from his injuries. Kelsie did not survive. Kelsie was a fun, spunky ray of sunshine whose light came from her love of the Savior Jesus Christ. She had a strong testimony of His gospel and served Him faithfully throughout her life, including as a full-time missionary in Baltimore, Maryland.

Kelsie's light grew even brighter when she married the love of her life, Chase, just four months ago. She was over the moon to begin their life together, never shy to express her love for him to those around her. Chase was also never shy in expressing his love for Kelsie.

Chase is attending BYU and also has a great spirit with him. His love for people and optimistic outlook are contagious. He has a deep love for both of his families.

Unfortunately, the life insurance policy Kelsie's parents had for her expired on her 21st birthday. Chase has a long road of recovery ahead, both physical and emotional.
