Chase Landes' Medical Bills

Chase Landes was in a life-threatening motorcycle accident on Sunday, June 24th and was airlifted to York Hospital. His motorcycle spun out on gravel which caused the crash. Chase originally underwent an 8-hour surgery to try to repair the main artery in his leg in an effort to restore blood flow caused by his femur bone severing the artery in his leg. Due to the location of his crash (no cell reception to call 911), by the time the doctors were able to get Chase into surgery, he was without blood in his leg for three hours. After two days the doctors ended up amputating his leg above his knee and Chase continued to fight for his life due to the toxins that entered his bloodstream. He has undergone 5 surgeries within one week and has more on the horizon as he recovers. He is one tough young man.
Chase is a 19-year-old who leads an active life. He graduated from West York High School just last year where he played baseball. He is currently part of the Kinsley Construction Apprenticeship Program. Chase loves to hunt, fish, ride his four-wheeler and motorcycle, spend time with his friends and go to the races. Anyone who knows Chase knows that he is just an all-around happy guy who loves life. Please continue to pray for Chase for healing and strength during recovery. He has many physical obstacles to accomplish ahead of him as well as emotional as he adjusts to his new normal. Pray for Chase in his future surgeries and rehabilitation. We know Chase is a fighter and that he can and will continue to thrive in life. He will get through this and your support is a huge part of that. We appreciate all of you as you pray for Chase and our whole family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of the encouraging messages and for the financial support with the many hospital bills that are a result of Chase's accident.
