Chasing A Football Dream: Layla’s Journey

Hi, I’m Layla. Most of you know me as “the girl that just loves football” and that pretty much sums up who I am.

I am 12 years-old. I’ve been playing competitive football since the age of 6 and I can’t imagine doing anything else with my life. I have been fortunate enough to play with and against some of the most talented players and be coached by some amazing coaches in Australia.

Now the time has come to test myself against the best in the world. A once in a lifetime opportunity has come my way which allows me to follow my dream. I am travelling to Portugal in September to trial at Sporting Lisbon and Benfica.
