"Chasing down ninjas" Rob Murray

As some of you all may be aware and others just catching up, Rob has been diagnosed with the big L, specifically called this by Rob because he refuses to use its name. Rob has three different strands that he calls "ninjas"., that he is fighting.

He started chemotherapy on the 24th of September and has been giving updates with his whit and humour on Facebook so his friends and family can keep updated on his condition.

Rob has had his amazing wife Merrilea by his side every step of the way!

Those that know Rob know he is a man of honour and respect, after serving in the army he has used his skills and lessons learnt with the youth at the Gympie Junior Rugby League for more years than can be counted!(lost count at 17) Coaching, inspiring and showing the way for kids of all ages. Rob's efforts became recognised in 2016 when he has awarded a life membership at the club.

It's time for Rob's continuous giving to others to come back around again! He has been told he will need 25 weeks of treatment. That's 25 weeks away from his home, his children, his puppies and everything he loves.

The idea is to be able to help Rob and Merrilea with travel, for Merrilea to have the option to cut her hours down at work to be with her family as much as she would like and to hopefully help ease some stress for the next 25 weeks while Rob focuses on fighting his ninjas.
