Cheese & Wine Nights @ Magdalen Cheese

We are Magdalen Cheese & Provisions, a neighbourhood Cheesemonger and one-stop-shop for all your tasty accompaniments, wines, ciders and beers.

We opened on Magdalen Road in Exeter in October 2021 and have been working hard to build a customer base during some trying times. We really believe in what we do and it brings us joy to introduce our visitors to the high quality, traditionally made products we have found along the way.

After much demand, we are excited to work towards opening our door a couple of evenings a month for cheese plates and wines by the glass. To do this, we need your help!

The start up costs behind this kind of venture aren’t something we can manage alone. If you are one of the many lovely people that have enquired after cheese and wine nights in our shop space, we humbly ask for a donation - whatever you can manage - towards getting us up and running.

The funds will go towards the very basics we need to comfortably host and feed you! (Eg. Tables and chairs, cutlery and glassware…)

Our plans for the first few months are quite simple. We intend to open a couple of evenings a month, with an offering of cheese plates, charcuterie, bread and pickles alongside a rotation of natural wines pouring by the glass. Ciders and beers by the bottle too, of course.

Over time we plan to host tastings and events with some amazing friends and producers to really show off all the things we have to offer.

We love being a part of the community on Magdalen Rd and can’t wait to seat you in our beautiful shop space.
