Chef Dan's Fight Against Cancer

My husband and soul mate of 35 years has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He has been unable to work and will be starting treatments. We have exhausted all of our savings and are currently applying for disability. We also have to vacate our home of 17 years as soon as possible because our landlord is selling the property. We are needing help relocating to a more affordable apartment until his disability benefits are approved.  His greatest hope is to return to the kitchen and the career that he loves. He worked at the University of Louisville Alumni Club and regularly ran a Wednesday night ministry to feed the hungry in our community at our church, South Louisville Christian Church, for the last 8 years (which he felt was a blessing from God). He has always provided for his family and needs help to get back on his feet. Thank you and God bless you all!
