Chef Q. Ibraheem, Kids with Coworkers
CNN Heroes 2021 campaign
When the pandemic brought her supper club and catering business to a halt, Chef Q. Ibraheem started providing healthy, home-cooked meals to families in need in the Chicago area. As word of her efforts spread through the community, she received funding to expand her program, Kids with Coworkers. Since March 2020, she’s provided more than 60,000 meals to more than 600 people at risk of going hungry during the pandemic.
