Oscar was born in an emergency C section at 27 weeks. He weighed just 745grams. The NICU unit kept our baby alive and also spotted that he had a rare chromosome disorder called Trisomy 9 Mosaicism.
The work that the Neonatal Unit did (and continue to do) was incredible. Sadly, after 6 months of life, our baby passed away following difficulties in intubation. This was primarily due to an abnormally grown airway. We want to raise some money for the Chelsea Childrens Hospital Charity and to do that, a 100 mile, off road cycling day is happening, so please sponser us today!
