My daughter and her boyfriend were in a horrific motorcycle accident on Sunday, August 20th, 2017.
While we haven't had it confirmed by the police, there have been reports stating that the driver of the pick up truck was "chasing someone due to road rage" or had also "swerved into their lane after driving erratically".
Whatever the cause may be, both of them sustained substantial injuries, and will require multiple surgeries.
While Zach received severe road rash, bruising, deep cuts, a possible back injury ,and a broken femur that required a rod to be inserted, he is stable and awake at the moment.
Chelsea however received far worse injurie and had to be flown to Portland; she has potential brain trauma, road rash, a broken femur, and she also lost her arm and part of her leg. She has already undergone one surgery, but will require "multiple" surgeries per her doctor and will be staying at the hospital for at least 2-3 weeks.
We are asking for any donation, no matter big or small, to help with medical bills for both Zach and Chelsea, as they don't have insurance, travel to and from doc apts, any lodging and of course, donations to assist with the care of her 5 year old Bentleigh.
Along with any contributions you can make; prayers, good vibes, positive thoughts, etc. are all welcomed and appreciated.
