Hello Everyone,
It saddens us to announce that our beloved Chelsea Mitchell Guzman left us on New Years Day January 1st, 2024. A beautiful and kind soul. A wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. On December 25th Christmas Day, we went to Disneyland and Universal Studios to enjoy our annual Holiday vacation with our children for 5 days. On December 30th, we woke up to check out of our hotel and head back home. After two hours of driving Chelsea mentioned that she had a headache and took some Tylenol to feel better. After about thirty minutes, she fell into a deep sleep that did not seem normal for her. Upon seeing this, we knew something was not right and pulled over in a panic and called for an ambulance. They took her by helicopter to the nearest hospital called Adventes Health Bakersfield. When we arrived to the hospital we were given the most devastating news. The doctors stated a blood vessel had ruptured in her brain, which caused a very rare spontaneous bleed in her brain. All of us were in shock and still hopeful for a miracle, and after running multiple tests they pronounced her brain dead on January 1st, at 2:41pm. We have been left grieving beyond measure. She leaves behind her four beautiful children ages 15, 12, 3, and 2. Chelsea loved watching her children play sports. Because of this, she made life long family friends and memories with their softball and baseball families. Chelsea enjoyed her love of cozy blankets, vacations at Disneyland, social time with her family and friends, and most of all, her sleep. She was known throughout the community for serving her regulars at Skilletz and Jack’s with her huge smile and care. Being the giving person that she was, Chelsea will be donating her organs to give others the gift of life. We ask for prayers and support at this time. If anyone would like to make a donation in her honor, we would be so grateful. As all of you can imagine, we are in unbearable and immense pain. From her Husband “I love you baby so much me and the kids love you with all our hearts!!!!! CheeeellIlssss!!!!!”
Thank you.
