Chelsea’s Journey with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer

Dear friends and family,

We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to support my sister, Chelsea who has been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. We want to do everything we can to support her. Would you join us?

Chelsea is 38 years old and married with 2 children now 1 and 5 years old. She watched her father pass away several years ago from this same cancer in just 3 short months. Her oncologist told her this past November that she would most likely only live until April. The thought of leaving two small children without a mother was overwhelming.

Chelsea was introduced to a number of complementary treatments in January and after 4 months, she now appears to be on the road to healing. As of April 10, she is feeling better than she has in 8 months.

She is currently undergoing treatment 5-7 days a week, sometimes for several hours a day at a personal cost of $10,000-$15,000 per month. Therapy is expected to continue for up to 12 months.

I can’t imagine the stress Chelsea is under trying to focus on her health, her family and also cope with the financial strain of this cancer. Our goal is to raise $120,000 to help cover her medical expenses.

Chelsea is a kind, caring, and loving person who is always there for others. She is a deeply cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend, and we want to do everything we can to ensure she has the resources needed to recover completely.
