Chelsey Meyer Fund

Chelsey found out she  was BRCA1 positive a few years ago. This makes chances of developing breast cancer in her lifetime over 80%. The most aggressive preventive treatment is a prophylactic double mastectomy which will reduces this chance to less than 5% in her lifetime. Being only 31, this is a hard choice but must be done due to losing insurance coverage with her divorce. 

The first surgery is August 11 and will require 6 weeks of serious recovery. She then will have an additional surgery 3 months after which will put her out for another 6 weeks. Chelsey will have an out of pocket expense that is TBD. Likely a thousands of dollars on top of caring for 3 kids alone during her weeks with them (currently managing the start of a virtual school year and building and maintaining my business - something that will also be affected by recovery).


Lets all join together and help Chelsey through this incredibly challenging time. I want her to be able to heal and recover with financial security so she can rest and be with her children. Chelsey is my family, my sister, my best friend and the most important thing is taking care of one another. reflecting. loving  and being on each others team in life.  I am thankful as is Chelsey for the support of friends, strangers and the most loving people from all over the world.
