Chelsie’s Angels
Donation protected
Hey everyone, as many of you know, Chelsie was involved in a serious car accident Monday morning on I-395 in Oxford, MA on her way to work. An angel was by her side that morning, she miraculously survived. She suffered numerous bilateral rib fractures, shattered her clavicle/collarbone, pneumothorax in her left lung which resulted in a chest tube, and multiple fractures to all of her vertebraes in her thoracic spine. The following day she was wheeled to the O.R. where she underwent emergency spine surgery performed by Dr. Patrick Connelly. He was able to reconstruct her spine using metal rods and screws from T2 to T12. She is currently in the ICU at Umass in Worcester. As many of you know, we just bought a house in Dudley, MA and also have a happy, beautiful, energetic little boy named Nicholas Jr. As a result of this accident, both of us are not capable of working, and we are going to have an extremely difficult time keeping our house and moving forward, without losing everything we’ve fought so hard for. In the meantime, rehabilitation is going to be hard, and we are fighting to get her into a good rehabilitation center where she can hopefully have the recovery she needs, the recovery she deserves. Chelsie is a fighter, and with friends and family by her side and fighting with her, she will bounce back stronger than ever. One day at a time. Any donations, prayers, and words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated by all of us. We definitely need help in these tragic times. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop and read this. We love you all! Please take a minute, spread our story of hope, and share, share, share! ❤️
