Chelsi’s Cancer Journey

My name is Chelsi Abbott I’m  27 years old. I have recently been diagnosed with sphenoid sinus cancer which is a very rare type of sinus cancer. Over the last 2 years I have undergone two surgeries, countless specialist appointments and news no one wants to ever receive. I was told on 5/14/2019 that I will need to do radiation treatments in Boston, Massachusetts. I will have to do therapy for 6-7 weeks, Monday through Friday with only having the weekend off. During this time I will not be able to work and neither will my husband. We will be staying in Boston with our son who is two and a half. This will be a huge financial set back for us. We are going to have to pay for food, everyday necessities, medications, housing, co payments, vehicle payment, insurance, pet care etc . My husband and I have always worked hard and always give back to the community any chance we get. Throughout this journey I will keep everyone posted on what’s going on, how I’m doing and how treatment is going. This is going to be a tough journey but I’m going to keep fighting and pushing forward because my little boy needs his momma. I thank you all in advance for helping in anyway that you can. We hate to ask for help but in times like these sometimes it’s one of the few options you have. Thank you all so much for the continued love and support. WE APPRECIATE EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU.
