Chemo Care Bags for Cancer Patients

Hi, I’m Greta Mahlke and I am a member of Family of Christ Lutheran Church. This year in confirmation, I’m doing a Faith in Action project. To put my faith into action, I will be creating Chemo Care Bags for cancer patients at Frauenshuh Cancer Center. I have had several family members treated there for cancer. Because of my personal connection to this cancer center, I’ve decided to create these bags as a way to give back and show my faith.

I plan to make 20 bags and each bag will include: chapstick, lotion, hand sanitizer, fuzzy socks, green/peppermint tea bags, mints, a water bottle, a handwritten note, a coloring book and colored pencils.

Each bag costs roughly $20, so you can either choose to sponsor a bag, or any amount donated is greatly appreciated.

Any extra money received will be donated to Frauenshuh Cancer Center along with the bags.
