Chemo damaged teeth need repair
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Charlene. In 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. After several rounds of chemo, radiation and multiple surgeries, I beat it. In the process, I lost everything. The most lasting effect of this battle was damage to my teeth due to the enamel destruction from chemotherapy. I am finally getting my life back on track but cannot afford the thousands of dollars needed to repair my teeth even with insurance. I need several teeth pulled and partial dentures, implants are just too expensive.
I am now five years cancer-free but have this one constant reminder that is highly visible to people around me. The other scars from my surgeries, I've learned to live with especially since they can't be seen. But the way my teeth look has me hiding the smile that I feel in my heart from being well again.
I am asking for any donation, big or small, to reach my goal and finally have my smile back. Having my teeth so terribly damaged is taking a toll on my mental health. I'm embarrassed to speak for fear that someone will see my teeth. It's even worse now that life is on video because of Covid-19.
Your help will be greatly appreciated!
