My mother in law, my husband's mom, is starting chemo Monday morning. Chemo treatments are for breast cancer. She just found out today it will cost $635 out of pocket, each week, for these chemo treatments. $635 for 12 weeks, that's $7620 out of her own pocket. She is 70 years old and living off social security. No one should have to choose life saving medical treatments over keeping a roof over their head and eating.
