Ease Costs of Chemotherapy for Caden’s Service Dog

Hi, I’m Mary, Caden’s life and behavioral coach. I’m creating this fundraising on behalf of Caden and Lisa to help them ease the costs of chemo treatments for their special service dog. Lisa is Caden’s mother. Unfortunately, their service dog Oliver has been diagnosed with cancer this past month. Oliver has been with the family since he was a puppy. Serving not only as Caden’s emotional support but Lisa’s as well. You see Caden has health issues, tracheotomy to help Caden breathe and other special needs. As Caden’s life and behavioral coach, I’ve witnessed the importance of Oliver being part of Caden’s and Lisa’s life. For example, when times get tough, Oliver served as the family’s emotional crutch and he is there to help Caden get through challenges with her healthcare. Serving as hope and motivation; affirming the importance of service dogs. After visiting the veterinarian, the family concluded that it would be worth it to prolong Oliver’s life by as much as 12 months if he goes on chemotherapy treatments. So the past two weeks, Oliver has shown improvement health wise. Almost back to his regular self for however long. And in turn Caden is smiling again and just happier. However, the chemotherapy treatments are getting to be very costly for the family. It can go anywhere between $800-$1000 a week. As you know medical treatments rather for humans and/or animals are very expensive. And it’s getting tougher to afford the treatments as time goes by. But the $3500 will help cover another 4 weeks of treatment, maybe a little extra, easing Lisa’s financial burdens and helping to not only prolong Oliver’s life but to ease the sufferings that accompanies cancer. Overall, easing vomiting, diarrhea, whole body shaking, aches, pains, and etc.,. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Any amount will help and be greatly appreciated.
