Constellations of a Greater Day Mural-Cheney Trail

Donation protected
Hi, my name is John Bolduc. I am a volunteer on the Cheney Rail Trail. This GoFundMe page has been set up to defray some of the paint costs for a very large mural that a local artist, Ben Keller, has volunteered to paint. The 125-foot-long, 14-foot-high mural will be painted on the side of a former lumber storage building just north of the Cheney Brothers National Historic Landmark District on the Cheney Rail Trail in Manchester, CT. Per Ben, the mural’s shapes/colors are meant to represent the beautiful elements found in nature (flowers, waters, trees, sky, etc.), reflect the energy/movement of the active bike path and act as a backdrop for residents to take pictures in front of. With imagination, the shapes represent the outline of a silkworm (which fits with the history of the Cheney Silk Mills) thus I've given the mural the unofficial "Silkworm in Motion" name. Ben will come up with an official name for the mural during the painting process. The mural is expected to be completed in June 2023. Please consider donating to the Cheney Rail Trail mural project and support Ben and Community Art. Thank you Ben! www.BenKellerArt.com
