Cherilyn Lindenberg Family Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On the night of February 25th, Adrian (15), Becca (13) and Emma (11) unexpectedly entered into an intimate relationship with death as they sadly and tragically lost their mother Cherilyn Lindenberg.
According to the Childhood Bereavement Estimation Model (CBEM), created by Judi’s House/JAG Institute, 1 out of 14 children in the U.S. will experience the death of a parent or sibling before they reach the age of 18. Over 4.9 million youth are bereaved.
“Experiencing a significant death loss during childhood often results in profound stress and adversity and, without appropriate support, can derail a child’s development. For the millions of youth who are bereaved, access to comprehensive grief-focused, trauma-informed care and resources is essential.”
-CBEM
Therefore, with this awareness, this fund has been created for anyone who would like to send support that will help these 3 children move forward with their father, Michael Lindenberg. Received funds will go towards therapy and family counseling as well as immediate expenditures during this time of transition (ie: after school care, extracurriculars, transportation).
This fund was not created to meet a particular goal, but to simply provide family and friends a place to donate to the well-being of the Lindenberg children. ALL proceeds will go directly to Michael Lindenberg, Cherilyn’s loving husband and father of Adrian, Becca and Emma.
You may also consider a donation in memory of Cherilyn Lindenberg to the following charitable organizations:
• JESSICA’S HOUSE
Jessica’s House provides support in a safe place for grieving children, teens, young adults and their families. Michael and the children are receiving support from Jessica’s House which is located in Michael’s hometown of Turlock, CA.
