Cherished Memories of Nyamuol Nyakuaar
Donation protected
There are no easy words for a loss like this. Many of you already know we've lost someone incredibly precious to us: our sister, Nyamuol Nyakuaar. Our hearts and minds are struggling to reconcile with this reality. Every memory you share brings a wave of grief—a mix of tears, love, and disbelief that she’s no longer with us. Healing takes time, and it’s hard to be told to be strong when the pain of losing someone so deeply cherished feels unbearable.
Nyamuol was more than a sister, a daughter, or a friend—she was the heart of our family and a beacon in our community. Crowned Miss South Sudan in 2021, she carried herself with incredible grace and represented her people with honor and pride. She poured herself into helping to shape and inspire the next generation.
To her sisters, Nyamuol was a guiding light—a role model who exemplified strength, grace, and boundless love. To the community, she was a respected figure, admired for her integrity, humility, and her unwavering commitment to uplifting others. Her generosity knew no bounds; she gave her time, love, and support freely and without judgment. She never failed to make those around her feel seen, valued, and loved.
Her kindness was infectious. Whether through her warm smile or thoughtful gestures, Nyamuol had a way of making everyone she encountered feel like they mattered. She carried herself with dignity and compassion, and her presence brought comfort and joy to those who were fortunate enough to know her. She was not just a friend or family member; she was a safe haven for so many, always willing to listen, to help, and to stand beside those she loved.
Nyamuol is survived by her siblings Nyamal, Them(TK), Nyakume, Nyawany, Thilamar, and Thayain, who will carry forward her memory and the love she so freely gave.
On behalf of the family of Buk Them and Nyaluak Gony Pur, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has reached out during this painful time. Your prayers, words of comfort, and acts of kindness mean more than we can express.
We kindly ask for your support in giving our beloved princess the farewell she so greatly deserves. Any pictures or memories you’d like to share would be a gift to us as we celebrate her remarkable life. Please send them to Them(TK), Nyaber, or Nyawany.
If you are able to donate, we would be forever grateful. Most of all, please continue to keep us in your prayers. Your support is helping us find light in this dark moment.
“With everything you do on this earth, make sure you keep a pure heart with pure intentions.” -Nyamuol Nyakuar
