Cherry Street Brewing Staff Displacement

Hi, my name is Ashley, and I was the GM of Cherry Street Brewing Northshore. Steve, our Executive Chef, and I are hoping to raise money for the staff here in Chattanooga, TN after the business unexpectedly had to close its doors - leaving 44 employees without jobs with just 3 days' notice.

We have had the pleasure of working with this team for the last 2.5 years and they are some of the hardest working and most deserving crew we've been blessed to be a part of and want to do all we can to be sure they are taken care of during this transition.

We are hoping to raise enough money to ease the minds of our amazing team as we do all we can to place them in new positions and help open new doors for them. This fundraiser is to hopefully be able to help cover some of rent, bills, and any other costs the team here accrues while we all transition into our next chapters. We know it's a big ask to help achieve this goal for so many people, but any bit helps - even just the exposure of you sharing this post if you're not in a position to donate.

If you've ever visited us, in either the dining room in The Hop Away or The Arcade Lounge, you've had a chance to meet the wonderful team and hopefully build a similar bond that we have with them - learning about their lives, their ambitions and goals, and the dreams a lot of them are working their way through school to chase. We can go on and on about how incredible each and every individual is that is affected by this sudden news - the love they all have for this community, the neighborhood, the families, and guests we were blessed with meeting while serving you all. We are also shocked by the news and have always prided ourselves on first serving the team that we have built here to serve you all. We are humbled by the support you all have shown this past weekend after the announcement and cannot thank you enough for anything you may be able to contribute.

Again, thank you for all of the support you have already shown us these last few days, we're truly touched by the outpouring of love we've felt this past weekend.
