Cheryl and Andy's Journey to Parenthood
Donation protected
With all my love, I am sponsoring this page for Cheryl and Andy.
As many of you know, they have been trying to have a baby for 7 years. Finally, after a very difficult journey and an invaluable gift from Cheryl’s sister Christy, they have been approved for egg donation and implantation.
The process is lengthy and expensive, and they need your help to cover the medical expenses. Unfortunately, medical insurance does not cover this, so Cheryl and Andy are paying for all the costs, projected to be $50,000.
If you know them well, you know they are not ones to ask for help. It took some major convincing for them to allow me to do this! Please consider donating so that they can continue moving forward with this life-changing process. Cheryl has been open and honest about her pregnancy loss and has positively impacted many people by bringing awareness and acknowledging how devastating it is.
More about Cheryl and Andy’s journey:
In early 2020 their wishes came true, and Cheryl was pregnant. They began telling friends and family their exciting news when Cheryl was 14 weeks pregnant. She even sent a special card to her mother to surprise her, but Cheryl had complications, and her pregnancy was no longer viable. She had to call her mother and tell her what had happened before her mom opened the mail. It was an unbelievably sad time in their lives which was made even more difficult by the unexpected loss of Cheryl’s mother a few months after the loss of their baby.
With Covid limiting how many people could be there for Cheryl and Andy, they endured much of this heartbreak with just a few close people in their day-to-day circle.
Still, they pushed forward in their pregnancy journey and began the process of looking into IVF but unfortunately Cheryl found out earlier this year that she was unable to become pregnant even with the help of IVF.
Where would we be without our family? Cheryl’s sister will donate an egg to Cheryl and Andy so they can have their baby. It is an incredible gift that has brought their family together during this difficult time. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering donating. Any amount is appreciated and will help!
