Funeral Home Expenses for Cheryl (Cherie) DeMatteo
Donation protected
Cheryl passed on Monday, June 13 and has found her peace. Rest easy, Auntie Cherie, you deserve it. Thank you all for your kind words, generous contributions to her funeral home expenses, and thoughtful prayers. I know that Auntie Cherie would be overcome with gratitude. And, if you listen closely, you might be able to hear her because I’m sure she’s taking charge up there in Heaven!

Sadly, many are unaware that Cheryl was in a tragic automobile accident in Bradford just about two weeks ago. She was med flighted to Mass General Hospital in Boston, where she has undergone a tremendous number of procedures and tests to assess her injuries. She is severely injured, both physically and cognitively. She is being kept very comfortable but is on a ventilator. It is with a very heavy heart that I say, Cheryl's injuries are too extensive for her to survive with any quality of life. She will be taken off life support over the weekend.

Cheryl has always been a free spirit and wild child. Those who know her, know that she lived her life, her way. She was never without a giant smile, spunky attitude, fearless disposition, and thoughtful nature. Her heart was her greatest attribute and those she loved, she loved fiercely.
It is going to be a very trying time for the family this weekend, I ask that you please keep all in your thoughts.
The family is creating this GoFundMe to help fund the funeral home expenses. A sincere thank you for any contribution.
God Bless you, Auntie Cherie …we love you.
