My dear daughter Cheryl (Cheryl Warrender Phillips) needs help to fight a rare type of breast cancer. She is triple positive which means she has invasive ductal carcinoma. Only 15-20% of the population gets this. She has a year long fight ahead of her including chemotherapy, surgery (mastectomy) radiation, infusions every 3 weeks for a year for this HER2 receptor cancer. She has to travel to get her treatments because they don’t treat the HER2 where she lives because of the instability of the drug. Therefore, she has to make multiple trips to her appointments. She can not work due to the side effects of treatment and the multiple appointments she has to fight this breast cancer. The treatments are very harsh and have made her very sick but she will continue to fight so she can be breast cancer free in the future.
