Cheryl Jordan Wildfire Destruction

Please refer to the latest update, thank you!
I am fundraising on behalf of the Engelhardt family. Their daughter is my best friend and her aunt is in need of help.
Brent Engelhardt's sister, Cheryl Jordan and her husband William Poole unfortunately lost their home in the devastating Woolsey Fire. In a desperate flee to escape the fast approaching flames in Malibu, Cheryl was alone at her home and had to call 911 to rescue her because the smoke disabled her vision. Firefighters thankfully arrived and rescued her in time to flee the flames. They were devastatingly unable to rescue the animals in a fast attempt to escape the flames. Her 2 horses and 2 dogs were left behind. Sadly, her 2 dogs did not make it. The Humane Society did however manage to rescue her 2 beautiful horses from the flames. They are beaten up and singed from the surrounding flames and heat. The veterinary costs are expected to be a couple thousand dollars. Cheryl also lost her home in the fire and will be staying with the Engelhardt family for the meantime. She is unsure what insurance will cover at the moment but any donation helps. Your donations will be going to cover the cost of the veterinary attention they receive.
On behalf of the Engelhardt family, thank you so very much. This fire has impacted thousands of lives. Stay safe out there.
