Cheryl Massey Fire Help Fund

Today Cheryl's apartment building burned to the ground with her cat Gary and all her possessions inside. She does not have renters insurance and knows she has many generous friends who will help get some of the basics replaced. But there will be a new apartment to find with down-payment, etc., her computer, her guitar, her camera, and other beloved items that have been an important part of her life, not to mention other things she isn't even thinking of yet. Getting some money to help her have options when she needs them and be ready to find a new place and get it right away will mean a lot to feel like she can begin to get her life back again. Many are asking right now how they can help, so we thought this would be a good way to channel that desire. She will give a report on how she used the money and it will be such a great encouragement in the midst of great loss. If anyone has a lead on an affordable apartment and decent apartment, let her know. There were 40+ apartments in that building and that's a lot of people looking here in the next few weeks.
