Cheryl Louise Salazar-Bartley
09/16/1987-09/30/2022
It has taken me three months to process everything that happened on September 30th.
It’s with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl Louise Salazar-Bartley.
Cheryl will always hold a special place in all of our hearts and is survived by her two sons Mark and DJ, her parents Laura and Carlos and it’s our turn to give back to her family in there time of need. We are raising money to help with the funeral and memorial services for Cheryl’s family as this passing was completely unexpected. Any excess money will be split between her two children.
Over the last 35 years she filled our lives with laughter, warmth, comfort and love and then their were the harder times that showed us we are human and need to love unconditionally. Like all of us we are not perfect and she pushed all the buttons and she somehow knew the perfect time to do it, but at the end of all of it when the tempers settled she showed us all the amount of love she had.
It’s times like these that bring out the memories we shared and I only wish we had more days to create more. As I sit here going down the rabbit hole remembering our time together I could fill books of great times, beautiful days and the moments that tested all of us so I will only share one, It was 1995 or 96 on Christmas Day and Cheryl we woke up ran to mom and dads room all excited to open gifts, we ran down stairs to find her new pink Barbie car fully charged and ready to drive! Her face was pure joy as she hopped in for a quick spin in the living room and took off right into the Christmas tree knocking it into the wall and laughing the whole time.
At this time we are planning a day of remembrance and would like all close family and friends to join us celebrate the time we had with Cheryl and to share memories, pictures and surround ourselves with loved ones.
