Cheryl Sims

Sometimes you can try to do everything right in life. You can be the best person possible with the kindest heart, but cancer still shows its ugly face and takes you away from those who love you. If you were lucky enough to know Cheryl, it was a blessing. She worked for South Bay Union School District as a school bus driver, serving our community and our children. Cheryl had to retire suddenly to take care of her health. Did you know that employer-based benefits (such as life insurance) are only active while you're an employee? No? Well neither did her family. They are in debt from paying for her cancer treatments. There was a point we all thought Cheryl was going to make it; but after she finished chemo, we still lost her. Her husband Greg, and daughter Carin have no money to pay for her final expenses. I am asking for your help. Even if it's only $5.
