Cheryl's Fight Has Begun

Our dear friend, Cheryl Turner, was diagnosed with breast cancer on February 11, 2020. Her diagnosis came as a complete surprise. As many of you know, Cheryl has always been one to take care of her body. She exercises 5-6 times every week and has done so for the last 15 years. She has been a pescatarian for almost 30 years and became a vegetarian two years ago. Cheryl leads a very healthy lifestyle. However, cancer does not discriminate. Cheryl has no family history of the disease so this diagnosis just came out of the blue. She had no symptoms. She went in for a routine check-up and came out with this shocking news.
A mere six weeks later, countless trips to Sansum Clinic in Santa Barbara, and enduring the dreaded mastectomy, Cheryl is now home recovering. Chemo will begin in approximately 2-3 weeks and amid this horrible pandemic which is scary in itself.
Cheryl is on her own financially. She is her sole income. While insurance will pay a portion of her medical bills, the estimate for the remainder of the treatment is exorbitant, to say the least. Coupled with medical expenses are the other expenses that are necessary but not covered by insurance.
Dear friends, all of you know how caring and loving Cheryl is and will give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. She always puts others first and you can always rely on Cheryl to be that true, caring friend.
If you could see it in your heart to help out our dear friend during this time of need, we would be forever grateful. Thank you for reading and may God bless you.
