Cheryl's Road to Recovery

Cheryl Lanier has been part of our family at The Blue Dog Saloon & Restaurant for ten years and has become a smiling face with quick wit that is enjoyed by all.  Last week during work she had a medical emergency and was rushed to the hospital and informed she had a stroke and an aneurysm.

 

 Cheryl has been a waitress for forty-three years and lives with her 14-year-old son and his father, Jay, in LaPlata, Maryland.  Throughout Cheryl’s life, she has faced many challenges and always continues to work hard and stay positive.  In 2018, Jay had an accident that permanently disabled him, since that time, Cheryl has been financially responsible for her family. 

 

Cheryl is now home resting and worries about how  bills will get paid and the welfare of her family.   The money raised will be used to help pay her medical bills and monthly living expenses so she can focus on her health.
