Chester Hollman III Justice Fund
Donation protected
In August of 1991, my brother Chester Hollman III was charged with a crime HE DID NOT COMMIT. We fought for 28 years to seek justice for his vindication.
Than on July 15th 2019, my brother Chester Hollman III was released from prison - - vindicated /and all charges against him were dropped - - completely exonerated after serving 28 years in prison.
On July 30, 2019, in a courtroom in Philadelphia, the judge publicly said to my brother, that “the legal system had failed him and an egregious miscarriage of justice had befallen him.” Finally!!! The courts got it right!!!
But 28 years my brother’s life has been snatched away. As a vindicated/free man, he just wants to start his life - - sadly enough at age 49.
Devastated of the thoughts that loomed over his head daily- - about being incarcerated for something he didn’t do- - still plagues him. I can’t even begin to imagine what all he has been through during those dark uncertain days/nights.
He is free.....but he is simply trying to start his life.
The obvious worries of the past have certainly made its way to the present.
Just trying to step back into a life he has be deprived of for so long, has been difficult- - especially financially.
We are aware that this “re-Integration” is a process that takes time. Finding a job, healthcare cost, living expenses and simply having clothes on his back, has been a struggle.
We are asking for any help you are willing to give, to help us help my brother to start to rebuild his life. No donation is too small. We would certainly appreciate anything you are willing to give.
What has happened to my brother is a devastating tragedy.
No one should ever have to endure what he has been through.
Thank you in Advance for your love and support.
