Chester's emergency vet bill

Donation protected
Chester had to be rushed to the emergency vet yesterday for stasis yet again. Only one month after his last episode. At 4PM he was fine, then 5:30PM he's hiding, refusing to eat. I gave him all the meds and treatments I can possibly do at home and he didn't improve so I brought him in.
He wasn't seen by his regular vet but was seen by a new exotic vet. They did all sorts of tests. Vitals, teeth, ears, etc were all great. We retook his xrays and did blood tests. The xrays were great, no bladder issues, no gas bubbles, no sign of arthritis, we saw well formed stools. We spoke about his spinal trauma which was visible on the xray. He said it's not a major injury and doesn't think that's what's causing his stasis because of where the trauma is located. The blood tests came out pretty good. Glucose levels were great. But the kidney levels were a little bit high indicating a potential kidney failure in the future so we will have to keep monitoring that.
I've just been so discouraged. Every single test we've done in the book has came back looking great. Chester is in absolutely perfect health and perfect diet. So why the constant stasis? It's a never ending battle. We get through one episode and I know deep down the next one is right on its way.

In two days, I've spent $1000 on Chester's medical expenses. $200+ for his monthly medication, and now $765 for the emergency. Please don't feel obliged to donate, but if you do, Chester and I truly thank you and appreciate it. Thank you for all your support.
