Chestnut Cycle Safari

On 11th-14th October, a few of our fabulous team took to the road in an epic pub-to-pub 500km cycle ride to raise funds for our charitable foundation, The Giving Tree.

Being in the heart of communities, we talk to our guests every day and are all too aware of the impact of the rising food and energy costs.

Since 2020 we have supported our communities by funding, cooking and providing over 30,000 free meals for front-line workers and struggling families. This year, with the support of Nourishing Norfolk, the money raised will go towards seed-funding work at grassroots level, providing access to affordable, healthy food in our communities.

The core team cycled to each and every one of our pubs - up and down the Suffolk hills, through rural Essex market towns, along the Suffolk and Norfolk Coast and finishing off in the Cambridgeshire countryside. A gruelling 500km route - and 15 pubs - in just four days - a huge achievement for all involved!
