Trout in the Classroom in honor of Chet Hingle
Donation protected
On March 23rd 2024 at 9:30am, please join us as we gather to honor and remember my brother Chet Hingle. Trout Unlimited of Long Island & Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery are hosting a special "Fish Release" dedicated in Chet's memory. The event will be located at Babylon Park Ave Tennis Courts & Trails. Donations are welcome to support a program called "Trout in the Classroom." For the schools that participate in the program students learn to see connections between the trout, water resources, & the environment. The students will monitor and hatch fish eggs that are released into local waters. Combining my brother's profession as a teacher and his favorite hobby of fishing I know my brother would have loved this program. With your generosity we hope to raise enough funds for Trout Unlimited to purchase the necessary equipment needed for local Long Island classrooms that will be donated in Chet's name. Our goal is to continue to support Chet's passion for conservation & education. Please RSVP by texting Laura or make contact by Facebook messenger if you plan to attend and release fish with us:) Directions with suggested parking will be provided with the RSVP. If unable to attend please let us know and we would be happy to release fish on your behalf. Let's come together to celebrate Chet's legacy (and his 1st birthday in heaven) through this meaningful event. Your presence is a tribute to a life well lived. http://www.longislandtu.org/trout-in-the-classroom.html
