Chevalier Ballet UK Tour
Donation protected
Chevalier Ballet is a touring company that provides innovative performances in both classical and contemporary dance genres. Since Chevalier Ballet was formed in 2017, the company has performed at numerous theaters in the United States.
We are committed to making quality ballet accessible to a wide range of audiences. We do this by bringing classical and contemporary works on tour, having multiple performances throughout the year in a variety of locations and offering affordable ticket prices to the public. We strive to present diversity in the current ballet scenes through a varied repertoire spanning from classical ballet to post-modern dances. This April, Chevalier Ballet will bring the “Beatles Ballet” performance in collaboration with tribute band “Across the Pond” and Taconic Music string quartet to the UK for the first time. We received wonderful reviews while touring the USA. Unfortunately ticket sales only cover a small portion of our annual operating expenses. Chevalier Ballet is made possible by the generous support of individual contributions. In time we are hoping to expand through the support of foundations, government grants, and corporate sponsorships. In the meanwhile donations of any sizes will be appreciated. Thank you !!
Below is a recent review:
“Chevalier Ballet artistic director Sara Knight’s choreography gave powerful voice to those emotions, whether it was the emotional isolation of “Elenor Rigby” and “Nowhere Man”, the joy of “All you need is Love” or the hope in the darkness of “Blackbird”. Her talented dancers richly deserved the standing ovation they received. There were deceptively simple, yet beautifully rewarding movements.Across The Pond plays with plenty of passion and attention to detail, proving how much they love and respect this great music. The addition of Taconic music, all on electric instruments, gave the performances added layers of emotional depth. Here’s hoping someone reading this newspaper books them for a show. “ Manchester Journal, Vermont.
