Chevy's Medical Needs

Update 04/05/2016: After further reviewing the x-rays it was decided that surgery would be the most effective option. The doctor says he will make a full recovery and will live a wonderful life. Please help us raise the funds so we can give Chevy the surgery he needs to fix his leg! Thank you!!

We found this guy this morning (who we have named Chevy) laying in the middle of a busy road where has was hit by a car. Luckily we were able to pick him up and get him into our car. He was moaning and shaking and appeared to be in shock and in great pain. He was not using his back left leg and when he attempted to walk he would fall back down. We quickly rushed him to our vet and after being assesed and x-rayed by the doctor, it shows that he has three fractures on his pelvis. Good news is that because the fractues are lined up, the doctor thinks with love, crate rest and pain meds, Chevy will heal nicely without surgery. Even tho things are looking good the next 24 hours are still very crucial. The x-ray did not show any bladder activity so our vet will continue to monitor him to make sure there is no damage done to his bladder.
He is so sweet and is a fighter so we have high hopes that he will pull through! Please help us raise funds so we can give him all the medical attention and vetting that he will need! Thank you!!!
