Chewbacca’s treatment

I am asking for donations for Chewby, as he is battling a lot of health issues that have cost over $16,000 and they are estimating much more. Right now, he is struggling greatly and I am hoping to relieve some financial burden on his family while they try to process the emotional stress and try to care for him and make him comfortable. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Dogs quickly become part of the family, and watching them suffer is one of the hardest things to go through. Chewbacca’s diagnosis/run down:

He has diabetic keto acidosis (DKA) causing his electrolytes to be off balanced. The body becomes more acidic, and it can't maintain appropriate fluid balance. The electrolyte balance becomes disrupted which can lead to abnormal heart rhythms and abnormal muscle function, due to this he is already needing blood transfusions. He also has an upper respiratory infection which is causing him to have a constant mucus drip out of both nostrils and a urinary tract infection. He has something in his spleen that they aren’t sure what it is yet as the other things that are wrong are more important to take care of first. He officially has been diagnosed with diabetes and will need insulin for the rest of his life. He has been diagnosed with cushing’s disease which causes Panting, thin skin, chronic skin infections, dark-colored spots, skin mineralization, poor skin healing, and persistent bladder infections are other common clinical signs with this disease and also affects his diabetes. He has bad Corneal ulcers in both eyes which he could lose both of them and mineralization of his prostate which would be prostate cancer which the doctor said he is 90% sure he has.
