Cheyanne and Emily's volunteer trip to Ukraine

We read the headlines of suffering in Ukraine. The land I grew to love. This place I have lived. Lord, if there is anything I can do... Here am I, send me.

First, we contacted Vince and Jenn, the missionaries in Poland, and they told us about NHFC, which is an organization they have worked with. It seemed like a great opportunity, and we have signed up to volunteer with them this summer.

New Horizons for Children Ukraine is providing support for displaced orphans in western Ukraine. They send a few volunteers at a time to join NHFC staff in Lviv. There the volunteers do various jobs - go to the orphanages, play with the children and take them on outings, shop for supplies, count inventory, load and unload supplies, etc.

As all this is voluntary, we will need to pay for travel, food, and any other expenses that arise. If you wish to support us, we would love a donation to help us out. Thank you!
