Our Story

On October 3rd, 2018, Cheyenne Price was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. To say our world was turned upside-down would be a bit of an understatement. The next few weeks were a blur of hospital visits, scans, tests and anything needed before we launched our journey into chemotherapy. Getting swept up in the havoc of having cancer, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that our lives and especially Cheyenne’s have been put on hold. Going from a graduate of Albion College, having worked with the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians this past summer as the SPRING intern, to no longer being able to work due to rigorous chemotherapy, our family decided to turn to GoFundMe. Already saddled with student loans, Cheyenne hasn’t been able to work in any manner.

Cheyenne is the light of our lives, and has given so much throughout her life. To say this is a battle for her life is an understatement, and all we can do is support her and help her in any way we can. And while we have been focusing all of our time on her healing and recovering, not having to worry about the medical bills will be a great relief to her.

How You Can Help

All of the donations received from this campaign will go to funding Cheyenne’s chemotherapy and other treatments that she has taken up.

Going from working full-time to resting and recovering through this period has made it hard for Cheyenne emotionally and financially. Donations will go toward the mounting medical bills as well as her living expenses while she continues treatment and can no longer provide for herself. Even if you are not able to donate money, thoughts and prayers are always more than welcome.

Sharing this page with your friends and family would mean the world to us. It has been hard for Cheyenne to ask for help, and as her family, we are able to help and extend her sincere gratitude toward all of the well wishes and the kindness that has been extended our way.
