Chiary syndrom infection surgeries fundraising for Esperanza

Hi, everyone. My name is Esperanza Castillo, and I’m reaching out to you with gratitude and hope as I face some of the most challenging moments of my health journey.

In June of last year, I underwent my first surgery for Chiari syndrome. That surgery went well, and I was optimistic about moving forward with my life. Unfortunately, earlier this year in October, things took a turn for the worse. My symptoms worsened, and I needed a second surgery. With your help and support during my last fundraiser, I was able to cover the costs of that critical operation.

However, shortly after the second surgery, my health took another severe hit. During the first week of November, I was admitted to the hospital with meningitis and an epileptic convulsion. I’ve been here ever since, undergoing intensive antibiotic treatments and battling through these complications.

In the last week, I faced an additional hurdle—fluid buildup that required two more emergency surgeries to drain. These procedures were necessary for my recovery, but they also came with significant financial burdens.

Now, I find myself needing help once more. I’m raising funds to cover the costs of these two unexpected surgeries, as well as the ongoing treatments that are vital to my recovery.
