Chicago Black Owned Business Relief

Hello everyone! Our names are Ashley and Mounika, and we are natives of the Chicagoland area. We understand that this is a very difficult time for Black Americans, and we stand with you and are looking forward to supporting you. With that being said, we decided to create a fundraiser for Black Business Owners in the Chicagoland area that have been affected by the protests, riots, and looting. As many small businesses were gearing up to reopen on June 3rd, they were setback due to damages from riots and looting acts. Our goal is to come together and rebuild our community during these tough times. Every dollar makes a difference so please donate what you can! 

You must be a verified Black Business owner in the Chicago Metropolitan area to receive support. If you own or know of a black owned business that has been subject to damages from the riots, please feel free to leave the name in the comments so we can add it to our list of businesses seeking financial relief.

We will be updating the list as we find out more information on businesses that have been impacted; however, we are currently raising funds to support the following businesses:

-Kilwins, South Loop
-Mary's Bar-B-Que, West Garfield Park 
-Plano Child Development Center 
-Fat Tiger Workshop
-Kulture Chicago 


To ensure that these businesses receive all the funds that’s intended for them, we will post who received the donations along with their website or social media account. Thank you again.
