Chicago Pride Fest: Supporting LGBTQ Communities

Northalsted Business Alliance is the chamber of commerce for Boystown. Chicago, a city designated landmark and the world's first recognized gay village. In 2020, we are hosting our annual Chicago Pride Fest celebration as a virtual event, helping to raise funds for organizations serving LGBTQ+ communities and LGBTQ+ communities of color.

100% of donations proceeds will be distributed evenly to: Affinity Chicago , Brave Space Alliance , Howard Brown Health  [501(c)(3)], & Center on Halsted  [501(c)(3)].

Affinity Community Services is a Black led, queer led organization on Chicago’s Southside dedicated to social justice in Black LGBTQ+ communities. For 25 years, we have centered Black queer women through community organizing, intergenerational programming, education, and healing justice.

Brave Space Alliance is the first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ Center, dedicated to creating and providing affirming, culturally competent, for-us by-us resources, programming, and services for LGBTQ individuals on the South and West sides of the city.

Howard Brown Health exists to eliminate the disparities in healthcare experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people through research, education and the provision of services that promote health and wellness. Howard Brown serves 35,000 men, women, trans and gender non-conforming folks, infants, youth, and children annually through a multi-site clinics in Englewood, Hyde Park, Back of the Yards, Humboldt Park. Lakeview & Rogers Park.

Center on Halsted is the Midwest's most comprehensive community center dedicated to advancing community and securing the health and well-being of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) people of Chicagoland with programs supporting anti-violence, women, youth, seniors, behavioral health, HIV/STD and computer services.
