Give Bach: A "Viral" Fundraiser
As we all know, the novel coronavirus has upended the lives of countless people, but our independent musicians have been particularly hard-hit. Chicago Chorale had hired 25 musicians to grace its Bach St. John Passion stage, but the performance, originally planned for Friday, March 27th, has been shut down, leaving these talented instrumentalists and soloists without the income they expected to earn. Most of our artists make their living with these kinds of jobs, and have been effectively cut off from their sources of income until the virus stops spreading.
Your donation will go directly to support these talented musicians in a time of great uncertainty. While we cannot predict how soon they will be back to making music as usual, your generosity gives Chicago Chorale the ability to honor our original commitment to these amazing artists.
Chicago Chorale enriches the lives of those in its community by broadening awareness of and deepening emotional connection to great choral music.
