Chicago’s Family Owned Pizzeria Needs Your Help!

For 63 years Little Joes has been in our family! My grandfather Patrick Albergo and grandmother Diane Albergo opened the doors, with my great uncle Joe Pieri on the day my mother was born, September 19th, 1958. My mom Susan met my dad Abey in the kitchen in the 70’s and they fell in love. By 2002 Our Grandpa Pat was ready to retire. Abey and Sue purchased Little Joes and continued to build their legacy!

If anyone knows Sue and Abey they know how kind, generous, and selfless they have been to the community, loved ones, and their employees. Little Joe’s is special to not only generations of our family but it’s also been essential to multiple communities. Little Joe’s has a deep rich history with stories from friends, family, and customers all around the globe. We have brought amazing homemade food, with giant portions, at the lowest prices, to your families for decades! Little Joe’s is known for our famous cracker thin crust, pan + stuffed pizzas, pastas, and so much more. A true Chicago and Southwest Suburbs staple. For over 60 years we have made our specialties from scratch just like our Great Grandmother Mary used to make.

Covid turned the world upside down and changed everything for so many families and restaurants. Little Joe’s has been greatly affected over the last few years. By the grace of God we are still afloat but, we are sinking fast. The rising costs of fresh produce, meats, & cheeses has sky rocketed. The amount of business and the lack of staff to keep our kitchens running has really taken a toll on the restaurants. Because of this, over last few years I’ve unfortunately watched my parents struggle and try their absolute hardest to keep Little Joe’s alive. They have continued trying to push through it and survive but, sadly the world just keeps pushing back. Our resources are exasperated and we might have to close our doors very soon.
