Chickens that Need your Help Today!!!

Please help this little chicken family reach sanctuary! The hens and their rooster were attacked by dogs last week. Many of their flock were killed. These babes are the lucky ones. They were rescued and rushed to foster care by a good samaritan that saw the grim results of the attack.

In treating their wounds, we found a horrible lice infestation. Their poor little bodies were covered in hundreds of lice and eggs. This contributes to a poor immune system and can be deadly. Luckily they feel much better after a warm bath and plucking the engulfed feathers.

We've healed their wounds and cleared their parasites in foster care, but we need your help securing a pen and coop at The Chicken Rescue. They've been so resilient and deserve a peaceful forever home.
